The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norgaard has managed to clinch.
Burgess is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Norgaard to keep the fight standing.
Norgaard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Norgaard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Norgaard clinches with his opponent.
Burgess has Norgaard pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Norgaard manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Burgess tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Norgaard smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Burgess. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Norgaard.

Norgaard unloads a knee to the mid-section. Burgess lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Come on Norgaard - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Norgaard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Norgaard tries to land a front kick but Burgess steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Norgaard connects with an inside leg kick.
Norgaard paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Burgess is rocked!
Norgaard moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Norgaard lands a brutal head kick. Burgess looks out on his feet and Norgaard throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
