And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Vincent!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vincent uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Whoopins.
Vincent keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Whoopins.
Whoopins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Whoopins throws a body punch but Vincent moves out of range.
Vincent misses with a straight left.
Vincent showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Whoopins.
Vincent lands a two punch combo.
Vincent connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


Whoopins is rocked!
Whoopins lands with an uppercut that bounces Vincent off the cage and back into range.
Oh Whoopins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Whoopins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vincent manages to avoid it.
Vincent fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Whoopins seems to have got his legs back now.
Vincent keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Whoopins.
Vincent throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Vincent fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Whoopins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Whoopins fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Vincent shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vincent was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Whoopins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vincent on the ground.
Whoopins is trying to get back to his feet.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vincent works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Whoopins is being controlled here.
Whoopins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Whoopins tries to get out of the position.
Whoopins is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Whoopins is not content to let Vincent control the position.
Vincent scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Whoopins is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Vincent can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vinnie Vincent!
An out of breath Vinnie Vincent thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
