The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wanggai clinches with his opponent.
Wanggai lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Weiss backwards.
Weiss tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Weiss manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Wanggai misses with a knee strike.

Wanggai manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wanggai is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wanggai is working to tighten his grip on Weiss's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Weiss has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wanggai is really squeezing tight and eventually Weiss passes out! Wanggai breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
