Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Elvis Glass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Borys Markin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glass blocks a head kick by Markin.
Glass appears to be looking for a big counter.
Markin shoots in but Glass avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Glass is looking for a counter combo.

Markin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Glass's guard.
Markin looking to sit in guard and control but Glass gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Glass showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Markin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Glass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glass seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Markin for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Glass is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Markin to keep the fight standing.

Markin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Markin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Glass shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Markin's guard.

Markin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Glass looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Markin gets to his feet. Glass looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Markin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Glass pinned against the cage. Glass gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Markin throws a sloppy head kick and Glass moves out of range easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Glass throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Markin's waist but Markin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glass off to one side.
Markin darts in looking for a takedown but Glass gets double underhooks and turns Markin into the cage.
Markin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Glass dives in and grabs Markin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Markin pushes down on Glass's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elvis Glass. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Markin has Glass up against the cage in a clinch.
Glass wants to take the fight to the mat but Markin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Markin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Glass uses from the top position.

Glass is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Markin's half guard.
Markin pushes Glass off but Glass dives into side control.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Markin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Glass is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Markin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Glass lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Markin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Markin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Borys Markin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Markin just trying to survive but Glass is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Glass has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Markin is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Markin trying to control but not successfully.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Glass scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Markin is looking for a way out.
Markin is really stuck here.
Glass looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Markin trying to control the hands but Glass breaks the grip.
Markin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Glass is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Markin has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Glass goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Markin escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Glass is refusing to be controlled, as Markin sits in half guard.

Markin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Glass haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Glass wants to get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
