Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcilazo slips a straight right by Steiner.
Steiner throws a head kick that misses.
Garcilazo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Steiner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Garcilazo avoids the body shot from Steiner.

Garcilazo looks to land a combination but Steiner avoids it well.
Steiner swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Garcilazo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Steiner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Steiner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Garcilazo counters with a good low kick that Steiner was not able to check.
Steiner misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Garcilazo to counter with a crisp jab.

Garcilazo misses with a series of wild punches.
Alex Steiner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Steiner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steiner throws a push kick but Garcilazo slaps the foot to one side.

and Garcilazo counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Steiner!
Steiner is rocked!
Garcilazo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Steiner quite badly. Steiner pulls Garcilazo in close trying to recover. Garcilazo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Steiner on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Steiner doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marty Garcilazo!
After the fight, Marty Garcilazo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
