Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigori Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cinder Smaug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rasputin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Symphony of Destruction. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug wants to slow Rasputin down by chopping away at his legs.
Rasputin throwing a counter right hand but Smaug manages to avoid it.
Rasputin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rasputin misses with a kick to the body.
Rasputin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A chopping leg kick lands by Smaug.
Smaug darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Smaug moves out of range as Rasputin throws a body kick.
Rasputin throws a looping overhand right but Smaug ducks down to avoid it.
Smaug just misses with a punch to the body.
Smaug lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Smaug tries to close the distance and clinch but Rasputin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It appears Rasputin was looking to counter with a kick there.
Smaug takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Smaug missing with a left hand there. Rasputin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rasputin throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Smaug looks winded!
Rasputin looks for the body kick but Smaug saw that one coming.
Smaug moves out of range of the strikes.

Smaug loads up on a big right hand but Rasputin slips the punch.
Smaug tries to clinch there but Rasputin circles away.

Rasputin gets through Smaug's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Smaug digs a right hand underneath Rasputin's ribcage. Rasputin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Smaug lands a body punch.
Rasputin lands a shot to the body.

A right hook to the body lands for Rasputin.

Rasputin tries to throw a body punch but Smaug avoids it by throwing Rasputin back against the cage.

It looks like Cinder Smaug has been cut.
Rasputin struggles to land a body shot inside as Smaug controls his hands.
Smaug is looking to control Rasputin's arms but Rasputin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Smaug has his back to the cage.
Smaug stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The referee is keeping an eye on Smaug - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
