Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mo Bao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ao Ki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ao Ki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mo Bao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ao Ki!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bao moves into the clinch.
Bao is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bao tries to score a body lock takedown but Ki shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Bao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ki prevents the takedown attempt.
Bao tries to pull guard but Ki forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bao tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ki smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bao shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ki but Ki pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ki rushes Bao and presses him up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bao is trying to break the clinch but Ki has him pressed against the cage.
Ki prevents Bao from breaking the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Bao looking to slow down the pace here.
Maybe Bao would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.

Ki is trying to trip Bao. He has hold of a leg but Bao is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ki persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ki drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ki seems to have locked his on tight now - Bao screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ki, as he picks up the win!
