Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Poffo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ The Perfectionist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poffo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed The Perfectionist momentarily.
Poffo misses with the body kick
and The Perfectionist counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that The Perfectionist has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Oooooh!!! The Perfectionist has knocked Poffo down with a huge combo! The Perfectionist steps away and waves a wobbly Poffo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and The Perfectionist counters with a stiff right hand.
Oh Poffo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Poffo - that will leave a mark!
Poffo walks straight into a right hand from The Perfectionist - that's dropped him! The Perfectionist jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Poffo from any more punishment! Poffo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). AJ The Perfectionist!
A very excited looking AJ The Perfectionist rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
