And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dre Adams!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bambele pushes Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
Bambele tries a knee to the head but Adams blocks it.
Bambele tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Adams avoiding damage as Bambele throws knees to the body.
Bambele using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Adams has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Bambele drops Adams with a big knee straight up the middle! Adams is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Adams is rocked!

It looks like Dre Adams has been cut.
Adams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bambele gets a clinch.
Bambele jerks Adams's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Adams drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bambele goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bambele because Adams was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Suriname Bambele!
Suriname Bambele decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
