Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ned Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ned Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Morgan!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hunter.
Morgan throws a counter combo.
Morgan staying out of range there.
Hunter throws a head kick that misses.
Hunter stuns Morgan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hunter tries for a takedown but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Morgan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hunter.
Hunter throws a sloppy head kick
and Morgan counters with a three punch combo that has Hunter backing up. Hunter nods at Morgan to acknowledge the strikes.
Some wild striking there from Hunter.
A countering left hand to the body from Morgan misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hunter. Morgan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Morgan doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
No joy there for Hunter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hunter feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morgans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Morgan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Morgan lands with a straight right. Hunter didn't see that one coming.

Hunter scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Morgan content to control rather than advance.
It looks like Morgan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Morgan wants to stand but Hunter has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Well, if Morgan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hunter wants to get back to his feet.
Morgan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Morgan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Morgan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hunter rather than just go for the knockout.

Morgan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hunter is trying to defend but Morgan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Let's hope that Morgan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and Hunter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Morgan lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Well Morgan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
