The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Savernport drives through and clinches with Brown against the cage.

Savernport has gone for a leg lock! Brown slips out almost immediately though and dives into Savernport's guard.

Savernport throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Brown escapes and throws Savernport's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Savernport unleashes a big counter combination but Brown bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Brown tries to clinch but Savernport is having none of it.

Savernport fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Savernport feints and as Brown raises his hands in defense, Savernport changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Brown is looking for a triangle but Savernport pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Savernport manages to get himself to full guard.

Brown stands and steps away. Savernport gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Brown is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Savernport is defending well for now.

Brown fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Savernport has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brown is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Brown gets control of Savernport's arms and successfully pulls guard. Brown will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Brown has momentary wrist control but Savernport slips an elbow through the middle.
Brown has Savernport pulled in close to control his posture.

Brown is looking to cinch up a triangle. Savernport throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Brown's body to avoid the submission. Brown has instead reached around Savernport's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Brown arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
