Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Pablos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sudo Nym (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sudo Nym is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Sudo Nym!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nym has managed to clinch.
Nym makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Pablos blocking some punches.
Pablos changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nym fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pablos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nym defends well and Pablos ends up having to push Nym into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Nym lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Nym tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pablos's elbow.
Nym throws a head punch that misses.
Nym lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Pablos wants the takedown. Nym is fighting it off but Pablos persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Nym's guard against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pablos tries to free his leg and advance position but Nym is retaining full guard.
Pablos wants to control from the top but Nym keeps moving.
Pablos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Pablos prevents Nym from getting back to his feet.

Nym seems keen to control Pablos's posture.
Nym is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Pablos trying to control the position from guard on top but Nym is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Nym pushes Pablos off and gets back to his feet.

Pablos looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Pablos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nym creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pablos's defenses.

Pablos drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Nym has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Pablos seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Nym can turn it around.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Pablos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nym dips a shoulder and cracks Pablos with a mighty uppercut! Pablos falls back against the cage and Nym unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pablos is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Nym screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sudo Nym!
