The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lomey dives in for a single leg takedown but Stanley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Stanley changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lomey is stalling here. Stanley is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lomey seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Stanley has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lomey shoots in and bounces Stanley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Lomey shoots in looking for a takedown but Stanley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lomey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Stanley has his foot on Lomey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lomey works his way back into a safe position though.

Lomey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stanley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lomey somewhat.

Stanley has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lomey after a bit of a struggle.

That was a close second round but I would say that Landon Stanley will probably get the nod.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lomey connects with a nice short shot to Stanley's temple.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lomey wants to pass the guard but Stanley is keeping the position.

Lomey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stanley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lee Lomey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Landon Stanley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lomey goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stanley has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lomey but great work by Stanley.
