Nakamura has chosen Turning Japanese (The Vapors) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Angel Price has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Angel Price!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kid Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nakamura gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nakamura has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Nakamura tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Price really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Price wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Nakamura's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Price shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nakamura but Nakamura pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nakamura lands a nice leg kick that just misses Price's sensitive parts.
Nakamura lands a two punch combo.
Nakamura misses with a double jab.
Nakamura throws a half hearted mid kick.

Price shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Nakamura manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nakamura is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Nakamura breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nakamura is pawing at Price, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Price's nose. Price is badly hurt! Nakamura pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Price tries desperately to hold on but Nakamura is relentless in his assault! As Price receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Nakamura away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kid Nakamura!
Kid Nakamura seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
