Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Philip Gallagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Immortal Technique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallagher's entrance music is The Vindictives - Stupid Song. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Technique's choice of entrance music: Eye in the sky . Immortal Technique struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horrible takedown attempt by Technique or perhaps it was just good defense by Gallagher, which made it look bad.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gallagher parries the strikes from Technique easily there. Technique is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gallagher to escape.
Technique has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Technique throws a wild hook but Gallagher just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Technique gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Gallagher raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
