The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Perfect lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Asd takes a knee to the side of the body.
Asd tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Asd is trying to push Perfect away but Perfect has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Asd takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Punka Asd has been cut.
Perfect taking a breather.
Perfect is stalling here.
Perfect keeps control of Asd as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perfect landing knees to the body.
Perfect lands a nice elbow.
Asd being controlled against the cage.
Perfect just leaning against Asd, taking a breather.
Perfect gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Perfect lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Perfect prevents Asd from breaking the clinch.
Asd trying to control the position but instead, Perfect has worked for underhooks and has pushed Asd into the cage.
Perfect lands a nice elbow.
Perfect blocks an uppercut.
Perfect with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Perfect effectively controlling the action here.

Perfect drops Asd with a big knee straight up the middle! Asd is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Asd is rocked!
Perfect with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Asd is still on wobbly legs! Can Perfect finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Asd doesn't manage to clinch there - Perfect circles away.
Perfect turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Asd tries to clinch but Perfect moves away
and Perfect makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Asd seems to have recovered his senses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Asd crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Perfect - the referee stops the clock and Asd gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Perfect. Asd manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Asd looks winded!

Perfect pushes Asd up against the cage in a clinch.
Asd is pushing Perfect up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Perfect unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Asd wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Perfect comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Perfect lands an elbow inside.

That has opened up Punka Asd's cut even more.
Perfect has Asd pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Asd is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Perfect - that's hurt Asd badly! Oh, another knee lands and Asd is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Asd doesn't seem to be complaining.
