The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ama lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sensei backs up against the cage.
Ama gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ama breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A lazy body kick from Ama
and Sensei counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ama!
Sensei throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Sensei passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ama!
Sensei looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sensei won't let Ama get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Sensei is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Ama is forced to tap! Great finish!
