Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Greer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer Greer has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Spencer Greer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Parker!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Greer.
It looked like Greer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Parker throws a left and a right that both miss

and Greer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Greer wants to stand and escape but instead Parker has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Greer is pulling down on Parker's head. It's preventing any offense from Parker, at least for the moment.
Greer keeping moving, preventing Parker from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Parker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Greer is trying to control the position but Parker postures up.
Greer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Parker looking to sit in guard and control but Greer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Greer lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Parker has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Greer is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Greer has Parker pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Greer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Parker tumbling to the mat - Greer dives into Parker's guard.

Parker scrambles and gets back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker looks for the body kick but Greer saw that one coming.

Parker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Parker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Greer defends well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Parker uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Greer misses with a head kick.

Greer has closed the distance and engaged Parker in a clinch.

Parker gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Greer regains guard.

Greer is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Parker presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Greer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Parker shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lee Parker will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Parker unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Parker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Greer has him pressed against the cage.

Parker stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Greer.

Greer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Parker throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Parker trying to control the position but instead, Greer has worked for underhooks and has pushed Parker into the cage.

Greer tightens his grip and picks Parker up, before dumping him to the ground. Parker manages to land in guard.

Greer won't allow Parker to sweep him here.
Parker trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Greer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Greer has managed to get both his arms back between Parker's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Parker pushes Greer off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Parker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Greer to the mat! Greer manages to get full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Greer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Greer stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Greer moves into the clinch successfully.

Parker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Greer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Greer is trying to shake Parker off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Parker won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Greer moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spencer Greer dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Parker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Greer is trying to defend but Parker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Greer manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Parker keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Parker wants the takedown. Greer is fighting it off but Parker persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Greer's guard against the cage.
Greer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parker is one step ahead there.
Parker tries to free his leg and advance position but Greer is retaining full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Parker wants to control from the top but Greer keeps moving.
Greer is controlling Parker's posture.
Parker wants to get up but he can't break Greer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Spencer Greer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Greer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Parker throws an elbow that misses. Greer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Parker's guard. Nice move by Greer!

Greer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Parker, up you get!

Parker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Greer was covering up waiting for the punch and Parker finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Greer has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Parker off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lee Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Greer bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Greer lands a hook that snaps the head of Parker backwards.

Greer is trying to trip Parker. He has hold of a leg but Parker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Greer persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Parker is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Greer presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Spencer Greer showed his dominance in that final round.
