The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Bluth.
Bluth stuffs the takedown.
Bluth connects with a body shot that sends Shvukmeh's belly button to the back.
Shvukmeh dives in for a single leg takedown but Bluth sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Bluth was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Shvukmeh.
Bluth scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bluth throws a one two combo.
No joy there for Shvukmeh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice body punch from Bluth.
Horrible takedown attempt by Shvukmeh or perhaps it was just good defense by Bluth, which made it look bad.
George Michael Bluth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Balto Shvukmeh.
Bluth lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bluth dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shvukmeh. That did some damage!
Shvukmeh shoots in for a takedown but Bluth shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Shvukmeh goes for a double leg but Bluth avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bluth continues to drive forward.
A combination from Bluth does no damage.
Shvukmeh steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bluth.
Bluth throws a head kick but Shvukmeh moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bluth, as that shot connected.
Sloppy strikes from Bluth. Those never looked like landing.

Bluth throws a nice looking combination but Shvukmeh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bluth misses with a kick to the body.
Bluth swats away the attempt to clinch by Shvukmeh.

Shvukmeh rushes Bluth and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Shvukmeh goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bluth prevents it.
Shvukmeh wants a takedown.

Bluth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bluth throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bluth throws a sloppy head kick and Shvukmeh moves out of range easily.
Bluth throws a combination that misses

and Shvukmeh moves into the clinch.

Bluth breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bluth throws a right and a left that Shvukmeh avoids nicely.

Shvukmeh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Bluth is wriggling around trying to escape but Shvukmeh has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Bluth taps out and Shvukmeh picks up the big win! Great work there by Shvukmeh!
