Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thithizauro Sauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshawn Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thithizauro Sauro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deshawn Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shaw to the ground. Sauro is now in Shaw's guard.
Sauro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shaw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shaw looking for a guillotine here but Sauro defends easily.
Sauro seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Shaw is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sauro is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sauro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Shaw manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sauro has Shaw in his guard.
Sauro could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Shaw thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sauro is pulling down on Shaw's head. It's preventing any offense from Shaw, at least for the moment.
Shaw stops Sauro from standing up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sauro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Shaw is looking to control Sauro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shaw avoid being mounted?
Sauro seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Shaw gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Thithizauro Sauro will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sauro takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Shaw darts in looking for a takedown but Sauro gets double underhooks and turns Shaw into the cage.

Shaw shoots in for a takedown but Sauro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sauro tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shaw just stands there and leans against the cage.

Well Shaw has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
