Harrison has chosen Motorhead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. William Harrison has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with August Robles's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, August Robles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Harrison !
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison tries to bum rush Robles with a series of wild strikes but Robles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Harrison has Robles up against the cage in a clinch.
Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Robles is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Harrison is defending well for now.
Harrison avoiding damage as Robles throws knees to the body.
Harrison misses with some punches.
Robles wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Robles.
Robles lands with a left to the head.
Harrison misses with a hook from the clinch.
Harrison is pressed up against the cage. Robles has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harrison down to the mat. Harrison avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Robles gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Harrison to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Robles wants to sweep but no luck.
Harrison tries to stand but Robles is controlling from the bottom.

Robles has a closed guard, preventing Harrison from standing up.

Robles looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harrison wants to stand but Robles has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Robles has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Harrison has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Robles is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robles has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Robles's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Harrison wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Robles's closed guard. He's half up but Robles has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Robles pivots and extends the arm, Harrison falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Robles! Well done that man!
