The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Patterson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Page connects with a body shot.
Page scores with a spinning back kick!
Patterson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Page misses with a hook. Patterson ducked under it nicely.
Patterson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Page manages to circle out of the way.
Floyd Patterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheers as Patterson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Page doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Charlston Page has been cut.
Page feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pattersons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Page connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Patterson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Page manages to avoid it.
Page keeps Patterson at a distance using the push kick.
Patterson is breathing heavily.
Patterson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Page counters with a body kick that stops Patterson in his tracks momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Patterson walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Page! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
