Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Neutron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shun Watanabe!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neutron closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Watanabe quickly recovers to half guard.

Watanabe has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Neutron is on him like a limpet, forcing Watanabe back against the cage.
Neutron lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Neutron fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Watanabe digs a right hand underneath Neutron's ribcage. Neutron let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Watanabe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Neutron tries to throw a body punch but Watanabe avoids it by throwing Neutron back against the cage.
Watanabe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Neutron fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A punch lands to the side of Neutron 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Neutron has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Watanabe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Watanabe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Neutron's guard.
Watanabe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Neutron does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Watanabe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Neutron circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neutron seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Watanabe for as long as he can get away with.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A close second round but Shun Watanabe will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
