Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bret Ireland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Lepijewitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Lepijewitz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Bret Ireland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Lepijewitz!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ireland tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lepijewitz swivels and escapes.
Ireland shoots in looking for a takedown but Lepijewitz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ireland's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lepijewitz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ireland throws a counter high kick but Lepijewitz was just alert enough to avoid it.

Ireland moves into the clinch successfully.
Ireland wants a takedown.

Ireland gets underhooks to prevent Lepijewitz's takedown attempt.

Lepijewitz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ireland just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lepijewitz jumps guard but Ireland stands there with Lepijewitz around his waist. Lepijewitz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ireland gets control of Lepijewitz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ireland will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ireland has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ireland accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ireland is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lepijewitz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ireland.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lepijewitz looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ireland missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Ireland perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Lepijewitz is trying to control but Ireland passes into side control!
Lepijewitz tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ireland sneaks out the side door and pushes Lepijewitz away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Ireland shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lepijewitz sprawls well. Lepijewitz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ireland gets slowly back to his feet.
Lepijewitz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ireland circles away.

Lepijewitz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Daniel Lepijewitz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ireland escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lepijewitz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ireland is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ireland in particular looking to stall.
Lepijewitz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ireland.
Lepijewitz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
