Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ali Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psyris Snap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ali Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Psyris Snap!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snap fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Snap closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Foster tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on Foster's face as Snap controls the position.
Foster is looking to reverse the position.
Foster wants to control but Snap postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snap trying to control the position but Foster is working away.
Foster parries the strikes from Snap easily there. Snap is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Foster to escape.
Snap wants to stand but Foster has his arm trapped.

Foster misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Snap trying to control the action but Foster is working from the bottom.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Snap takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Foster to pass into mount.
Foster is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Snap looking to control but Foster is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Snap sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snap trying to control but Foster is having none of it.
Snap tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

It looks like Snap might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Snap throws some wild stikes that Foster manages to avoid easily.
Snap controlling the pace for now.
Foster avoids a series of strikes thrown by Snap.
Foster is trying desperately to improve position.
Snap trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Snap lands with some strikes.
Snap lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Snap looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Foster is trying to stand.

Snap shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Foster's guard.
Foster is looking to stand up but Snap isn't so interested in that idea.
Snap wants to stand but Foster is controlling his posture from full guard.
Snap working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster controls Snap momentarily but Snap frees himself.
Snap is standing up over Foster. Foster looks to escape but Snap dives into side control.

Foster is not content to let Snap control the position.
Snap looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Foster is avoiding damage well.
Psyris Snap has got the better of the ground game so far.
Foster is looking for a sweep.
Snap is looking to take a break and control but Foster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Foster tries to bench press Snap off him but Snap keeps the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Foster is not content to let Snap control the position.
Snap has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Snap looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Snap controls the position from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Snap is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Foster has escaped the position, nice work there.
Snap wants to lay and pray for a moment but Foster keeps working.
Snap tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
You can see the frustration on Foster's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Foster misses with a head kick.
Foster swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Snap steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Foster.
Snap with a lazy takedown attempt
and Foster cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Snap on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Foster swings for the body but Snap moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Snap tries to pull guard but Foster forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Come on Snap - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Psyris Snap will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Foster closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Snap looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Foster decides to stand up.
Foster keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Snap.
Snap gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Foster counters with a nice body shot.
Psyris Snap seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster misses with a jab, cross combination.
Foster scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Snap avoids the head kick by Foster.
Snap doesn't manage to clinch there - Foster circles away.
Snap tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Foster seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Foster throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Foster looks to score with a jab to the body but Snap is just out of range.
Snap shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Foster defends it nicely.
Foster attempts a counter takedown but Snap avoids it well and moves away.
Ali Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psyris Snap.
Snap takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Foster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Snap manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Foster manages to get himself to full guard.

Snap wants to control from the top but Foster keeps moving.
Snap prevents Foster from getting back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Snap tries to free his leg and advance position but Foster is retaining full guard.
Snap wants to get up but he can't break Foster's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Foster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Foster swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Snap looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Foster has closed the distance and engaged Snap in a clinch.
Foster tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Snap is struggling to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Foster gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Snap.
Ali Foster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Psyris Snap is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Snap gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Foster is wriggling around but Snap manages to pass to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ali Foster showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Snap has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
