Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Lazaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Machado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Lazaro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Machado!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado looks to score with a jab to the body but Lazaro is just out of range.
Machado dips to his left and cracks Lazaro with an uppercut!
Machado tries for a takedown but Lazaro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Lazaro misses its target.
Machado looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Machado throws a poor cross that misses
and Lazaro counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Carlos Machado has been cut.
Lazaro thuds his right hand into Machado's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lazaro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Machado's head backwards.
Machado tries for a takedown but Lazaro circles away easily
and Lazaro counters with a stiff right hand.
Paulo Lazaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Machado.
Lazaro cracks Machado with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Machado has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Machado bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Machado is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lazaro is trying to escape and Machado transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lazaro is forced to tap! Nice work there by Machado! Very nice indeed!

After the fight, Carlos Machado was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
