Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Torvol Shammerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sig Farkenheil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shammerson is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Torvol Shammerson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shammerson goes for a double leg but Farkenheil avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Farkenheil continues to drive forward.
Farkenheil appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Shammerson stands and throws Farkenheil's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Farkenheil is looking to regain half guard here but Shammerson keeps moving and retains side control.
Farkenheil is trying to control Shammerson's posture but Shammerson avoids it.
Farkenheil is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shammerson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Farkenheil!

Shammerson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Farkenheil is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Farkenheil and Shammerson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
