Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nigel Benn Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Crusher Breaker!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Benn Jr rushes Breaker and presses him up against the cage.
Breaker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Benn Jr avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Breaker has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Benn Jr after a bit of a struggle.
Benn Jr lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Benn Jr gets control of Breaker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Benn Jr will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Breaker has gone for a leg lock! Benn Jr slips out almost immediately though and dives into Breaker's guard.

Benn Jr is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
We've been hearing good reports from Benn Jr's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Breaker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Benn Jr defends it easily.

Breaker is looking for a triangle but Benn Jr pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Benn Jr stands up over Breaker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Breaker looking for a sweep. Not yet Breaker, not yet.
Benn Jr lands a couple of elbows.

Benn Jr is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Benn Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Breaker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Benn Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Breaker's legs - danger averted.
Breaker looks winded!
Benn Jr wanted to stand there but Breaker had control of the position.
Benn Jr is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Breaker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Our spies down at at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) inform us that Breaker has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Benn Jr decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Benn Jr throws a nice looking combination but Breaker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Benn Jr shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Benn Jr was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Benn Jr lands a decent elbow from side control.
Benn Jr scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Breaker to see if he's OK.

Benn Jr tries for a kimura but Breaker is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Benn Jr stands up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Breaker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Benn Jr circles away.
Nigel Benn Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crusher Breaker.
Benn Jr misses with a wild combination.

Benn Jr instigates a clinch.

Benn Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Breaker walks into a stiff left hand from Benn Jr.
Benn Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Breaker sprawls well. Breaker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Benn Jr gets slowly back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Benn Jr moves into the clinch.
Breaker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Benn Jr gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Breaker blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Benn Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice straight punches there by Benn Jr. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Benn Jr.
Benn Jr stalks Breaker and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Breaker's face. Breaker staggers backwards, shaken.


Breaker is rocked!
Benn Jr is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Benn Jr shuts the power down on Breaker. Lights out, game over! Benn Jr is your winner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nigel Benn Jr!
Nigel Benn Jr took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
