Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Sammich!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sammich fails with an attempt to clinch.
It looked like Parker wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sammich throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range.
Sammich avoids a kick to the body.
Sammy Sammich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Parker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Guerrilla MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Sammich throws a hook but Parker avoids it easily.
Parker jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Parker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sammich looks to land a right hand but Parker moved out of range.
Sammich connects with a right hand. Parker shakes it off.


It looks like Scott Parker has been cut.
Sammich has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Parker lands a front kick.
Parker throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sammich.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sammich tries to clinch but Parker is having none of it.
Sammich looks to score with a jab to the body but Parker is just out of range.
Parker swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Parker keeps the fight on the outside.
Parker throws a big counter combination but Sammich scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Sammich fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sammich lands a nice hook to Parker's body. Parker takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sammich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Parker counters with an inside leg kick.
Parker slips a jab from Sammich.
Parker cracks Sammich with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sammich is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Parker misses with a body kick.
Sammich steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Parker.
Parker dodges the punch combination from Sammich.
Sammich throws a right hand that misses
and Parker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sammich on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sammich tries to clinch up but Parker circles away and keeps his distance.

Sammich has managed to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parker looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Parker lands a shoulder strike.
Sammich fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Parker working aggressively here.
Sammich misses with a hook from the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Sammich fails to land.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Parker.
Parker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sammich backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Sammich.
Sammich has a couple of punches blocked by Parker.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Parker.
Parker scores with a nice hook to the head.
Sammich lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Parker digs a right hand underneath Sammich's ribcage. Sammich let out a lung full of air as it connected.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sammich drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Parker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Parker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sammich smiles and moves away.
Parker lands with an uppercut that bounces Sammich off the cage and back into range.


It looks like Sammy Sammich has been cut.
Parker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sammich works the jab nicely.
Parker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sammich scores with a jab.
Sammich looks to throw the jab but Parker is out of range.
Sammich takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sammich.
And Parker counters with a quick kick to the body but Sammich blocks it.
Parker just misses with a punch to the body.
Sammich closes the distance and lands a one-two.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sammich rushes Parker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sammich tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Parker's elbow.
Parker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sammich throws a head punch that misses.
Parker scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Sammich misses with a hook from the clinch.
Parker lands a body shot.
Parker lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Parker takes a shot to the head.
Parker tries to work over Sammich's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Sammich.
Sammich taking a breather.
A nice right hand lands inside from Parker.
Parker tries to throw a body punch but Sammich avoids it by throwing Parker back against the cage.
Parker tries to break the clinch but Sammich is controlling the position.
Parker softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott Parker dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Parker keeps the fight on the outside.

Parker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sammich moves away.
Sammich throws a sloppy body shot

and Parker counters with a crisp one two that drops Sammich! Parker thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sammich to his feet! Sammich is in big trouble!


Sammich is rocked!
Parker steps in with a hook that catches Sammich right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Parker follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Sammich looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Parker!
Scott Parker decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
