The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuesheng looks to throw the jab but Dassler is out of range.
Dassler wants to counter with a clinch but Yuesheng pushes him away.
Yuesheng scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Yuesheng misses with an uppercut. Dassler saw that one coming.
Donk. Yuesheng catches Dassler right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Adi Dassler has been cut.
Yuesheng fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dassler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yuesheng.
Dassler swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Dassler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yuesheng as he jumps to the side.
Yuesheng misses with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yuesheng cracks Dassler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
We've been told by Yuesheng's head coaches at Bonsai Club MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yuesheng swings for the body but Dassler moves out of range.
Yuesheng circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yuesheng misses with a straight left.

Dassler fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Yuesheng closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
A right handed body shot lands from Yuesheng.
Dassler is looking to take this one to the mat.
Du Yuesheng has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adi Dassler.

Dassler is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Yuesheng can't fight it off and eventually Dassler manages to take the fight to the floor. Yuesheng looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yuesheng holds on and takes a little breather.

Dassler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yuesheng manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dassler has Yuesheng in his guard.

Yuesheng would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Yuesheng got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dassler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yuesheng has managed to get both his arms back between Dassler's legs - danger averted.
