Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tanishi Toshiyuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Pollock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toshiyuki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fuck you. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tanishi Toshiyuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Pollock!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Pollock
and Toshiyuki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Toshiyuki scores with a jab to the body.
Pollock takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Toshiyuki connects with a nice looking jab.
Pollock fails to land with a series of punches.
Toshiyuki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pollock's head.
Toshiyuki misses with a two punch combination.
Pollock swinging wildly here.
Good standup being displayed there by Toshiyuki as he connects with a hook.
Pollock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Toshiyuki.
Pollock feints the counter takedown.
Pollock rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Toshiyuki counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Toshiyuki lands with an overhand left.
Pollock throws a head kick that misses.
Toshiyuki throws a nice looking combination but Pollock bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pollock tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Toshiyuki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pollock takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Pollock.
Toshiyuki circles away from the clinch attempt
and Toshiyuki counters with a left to the body.
Toshiyuki feints a jab promting Pollock to slip. Toshiyuki then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pollock slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Sloppy strikes from Toshiyuki. Those never looked like landing.
Pollock misses with a series of wild punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Toshiyuki cracks Pollock with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Toshiyuki keeps the fight on the outside.
Toshiyuki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pollock.
Pollock looks to land a combination but Toshiyuki avoids it well.

Pollock forces Toshiyuki back against the ropes and clinches.
Toshiyuki lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pollock backwards.
Stalling in the clinch from Toshiyuki.
Toshiyuki throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pollocks head.
Toshiyuki misses with a hook to the ribs.
A right hook to the body lands for Toshiyuki.

Toshiyuki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Toshiyuki lands a nice uppercut.
Toshiyuki tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Toshiyuki misses with a hook to the ribs.
Toshiyuki trying to stall but Pollock improves his position.

Pollock has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Toshiyuki clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Toshiyuki can't escape the position.
What can Toshiyuki do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Toshiyuki tries to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good control from Pollock.
Toshiyuki rolls, trying to escape but Pollock keeps control of the position.
Pollock has good solid back control here.
Pollock avoiding Toshiyuki 's attempts to control his hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tanishi Toshiyuki dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Toshiyuki ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pollock keeps the fight on the outside.
Pollock misses with a double jab
and Toshiyuki counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pollock showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Toshiyuki.
Tanishi Toshiyuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pollock thows a left - swing and a miss!
Toshiyuki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pollock throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Toshiyuki connects with a body shot that sends Pollock's belly button to the back.
Toshiyuki blocks a head kick by Pollock.
Toshiyuki takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Toshiyuki is looking for a counter combo.
Tanishi Toshiyuki is winning the standup battle so far.
Toshiyuki lands a nice hook to Pollock's body. Pollock takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Toshiyuki throws a leg kick but Pollock checks it.
Toshiyuki closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Toshiyuki scores with a punch to the head.

Toshiyuki clinches up against the ropes.
Toshiyuki stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Toshiyuki misses with a punch to the body.
Toshiyuki is pressed up against the ropes. Pollock has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Toshiyuki down to the mat. Toshiyuki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A head kick misses from Pollock.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Toshiyuki.

Pollock moves into the clinch successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Toshiyuki tries to break the clinch but Pollock is controlling the position.
Pollock is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Toshiyuki pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Pollock jumps guard but Toshiyuki stands there with Pollock around his waist. Pollock gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tanishi Toshiyuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Pollock.
Toshiyuki lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Pollock's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pollock tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Toshiyuki smiles and moves away.
Toshiyuki will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pollock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Toshiyuki.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Toshiyuki tries to close the distance and clinch but Pollock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And Pollock tries to counter it with a takedown but Toshiyuki pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Pollock walks into a stiff left hand from Toshiyuki.
Pollock misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Toshiyuki seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Toshiyuki swinging wildly here.
A head kick by Pollock misses
and Toshiyuki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Toshiyuki lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Pollock can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Toshiyuki and Pollock drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Toshiyuki.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tanishi Toshiyuki!
Tanishi Toshiyuki decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
