Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Big Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big Time misses the shot to the body.
Big Time getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Big Time misses with a wild combination.
Big Time tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Big Time throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Big Time throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Big Time has taken the fight to the clinch.
Frost wants a takedown but no success here.

Frost gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Big Time is wriggling around but Frost manages to pass to half guard.
Big Time is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at School of Hard Knocks (Elite Training for $225) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Big Time tries to roll over but Frost keeps him under control.

Frost is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Big Time doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Frost.

Frost is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Frost working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Frost seems to be working for a kimura but Big Time defends the submission attempt.

Frost is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Frost seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frost is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Big Time is just riding it out for now. Frost eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Frost connects with a nice short shot to Big Time's temple.

Frost has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Big Time can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Frost controls Big Time momentarily but Big Time frees himself.

Big Time gets to his feet - Frost follows without any prompting.
Frost throws a body punch but Big Time moves out of range.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Big Time, as that shot connected.
Big Time looks to land a combination but Frost avoids it well.
Mike Big Time is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Big Time misses with a hook. Frost ducked under it nicely.
No joy there for Big Time, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Frost avoids the head kick by Big Time.

Big Time throws a series of strikes that have Frost backpedaling.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Big Time tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Frost paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Big Time tries to bum rush Frost with a series of wild strikes but Frost uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A little jabbing left from Frost on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Frost decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Big Time's guard.
Big Time wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Frost manages to pass to side control.

Big Time is looking for a sweep. Frost is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
