Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bregan Union (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bregan Union was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Union.
Union misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
A quick step to the side and Brown tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brown connects with the punch.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Union shows good takedown defense.
Union looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Brown shoots in looking for a takedown but Union manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brown's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Brown darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Union is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Brown postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Union looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Bregan Union has been cut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Union is bucking up trying to escape but Brown cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Union tries to hold on but Brown pushes him away.

John Brown dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Brown blocks a head kick by Union.

Union throws out a counter right but Brown avoids it with no problem.

Union connects with a solid leg kick.
Brown's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Union connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Brown scrambles back to his feet.

Union looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Union throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it.
Brown misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Union cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Union lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Brown is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown throws a one two combo.
Union throws an overhand right that drops Brown like a sack of potatoes! Union dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
