Scorpion comes to the cage accompanied by ¡MAYDAY! - Last One Standing. Redfield has chosen Believers as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Redfield!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scorpion throws an overhand right that lands on Redfield's shoulder, as Redfield tries to avoid the shot.
Redfield swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A quick step to the side and Scorpion tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Redfield scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Scorpion misses with a left hand
and Redfield counters with a left to the body.

Redfield cracks Scorpion with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Redfield has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Scorpion to stand back up!

It looks like Ranky Scorpion has been cut.

and Redfield scores with a counter punch that sends Scorpion to the canvas! Redfield smells blood - he's punishing Scorpion with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Scorpion has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Redfield!
Chris Redfield tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Ranky Scorpion spoke after the fight, saying 'jj why don't you learn to do sliders right already shit'.
