Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Narsimvarman Maurya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caine swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Caine has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Maurya avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Maurya throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Caine sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Caine steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maurya.
Caine tries to counter with a takedown but Maurya is quick to defend against it.
Caine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maurya moves away.
A little jabbing left from Maurya on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Maurya uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Caine.
Maurya throws a big shot that misses.
Maurya connects with a body shot that sends Caine's belly button to the back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Caine throws a leg kick that is checked
and Maurya counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Maurya throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maurya takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Caine lands a slapping body shot.
Caine has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Caiaphas Caine's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Caine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Caine is breathing heavily.
Maurya throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Maurya checks a leg kick.
Caine misses with an uppercut. Maurya saw that one coming.

Caine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Caine moves forwards but Maurya connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Jeez, Caiaphas Caine's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Caiaphas Caine's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
