The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrescu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brandao.

Brandao changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Petrescu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

It looks like Jose Brandao has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Petrescu feints and then cracks Brandao's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brandao down.
Oh Brandao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brandao throws a sloppy body shot
and Petrescu counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Brandao to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Petrescu!
