The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaspov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Kaspov looks to land a combination but Drogo avoids it well.
Decent striking displayed by Drogo there.
Drogo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kaspov.

Drogo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kaspov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drogo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Drogo rushes Kaspov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kaspov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Drogo feints and then cracks Kaspov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kaspov down.
Drogo doesn't manage to clinch there - Kaspov circles away.
A head kick misses from Kaspov.
Drogo lands a body shot.
Kaspov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Drogo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Sergei Kaspov has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaspov misses with a takedown attempt
and Drogo counters with a left and a right that stings Kaspov.
Kaspov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Kaspov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Drogo to the mat! Drogo manages to get full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kaspov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drogo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kaspov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Drogo is rocked!
Kaspov arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Drogo's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sergei Kaspov!
A very excited looking Sergei Kaspov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
