The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Churchill throws a right hand that misses
and Vanhanen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Vanhanen connects with the punch.
Churchill throws a poor cross that misses
and Vanhanen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Vanhanen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Churchill throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Vanhanen to counter with a crisp jab.
Vanhanen lands a jab to Churchill's midsection.
Churchill throws a hook but Vanhanen blocks it.
Vanhanen seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Churchill walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Churchill has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
