Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quinoa Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lucas Hood was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smiff scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Smiff lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Hood tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Hood takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smiff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smiff lands a big shot there that rocks Hood but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Smiff has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hood squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Smiff lands a series of strikes from the back and Hood goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!

A very excited looking Quinoa Smiff rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
