PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Better (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paha Hemmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Better comes into the arena with Mother by Danzig blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Better!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paha Hemmo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Better scores with a nice right hand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hemmo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Better - the referee stops the clock and Hemmo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Better. Hemmo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Better shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hemmo but Hemmo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Better ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hemmo moves away.
