Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bloke Smeg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Poorly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bloke Smeg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Drew Poorly!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smeg misses with a head kick.
A combination from Smeg does no damage.
Smeg throws a push kick but Poorly slaps the foot to one side.
Poorly missing with a left hand there. Smeg was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Poorly misses with a head kick.
Poorly throws a lazy head kick
and Smeg counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've been told by Smeg's head coaches at Komplete MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Smeg throws a series of punches but Poorly moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Poorly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smeg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Poorly counters with a series of strikes. Smeg will be more careful next time no doubt.
Poorly fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Smeg scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

The crowd cheers as Poorly lands an impressive looking overhand right. Smeg doesn't seem phased though.
Smeg lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Poorly avoids a kick to the body.
Poorly steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Poorly throws a lazy right hand but Smeg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Smeg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Poorly throws a fast counter high kick but Smeg manages to duck under it in time.
Smeg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smeg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Poorly.
Sloppy strikes from Smeg. Those never looked like landing.
Smeg misses with a body shot
and Poorly counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Smeg is rocked!
Smeg throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Poorly lands a big right hand that sends Smeg crashing to the mat! Poorly stays standing though and waves Smeg back to his feet!
Oh Smeg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smeg is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Poorly doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Smeg crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Smeg's bad books for that mishap!

After winning the bout, Drew Poorly thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
