Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis checks a leg kick.
Lewis changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sommervile swings for the body but Lewis moves out of range.
Sommervile clinches.
Lewis has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sommervile after a bit of a struggle.
Sommervile gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Sommervile prevents Lewis from improving his position.
Sommervile really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sommervile throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Lewis to regain full guard.
Sommervile wants to pass the guard but Lewis is keeping the position.
Lewis tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lewis has his foot on Sommervile's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sommervile works his way back into a safe position though.
Lewis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sommervile manages to get himself to full guard.

Lewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sommervile is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sommervile is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Lewis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sommervile with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sommervile is trying to get back to full guard.

Lewis is keen to just control but Sommervile is a slippery customer.
Sommervile makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sommervile.

Lewis drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sommervile dives on top into guard.

Sommervile avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sommervile trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lewis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sommervile can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sommervile must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lewis wants to improve his position but instead Sommervile has moved into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sommervile thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lewis's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but James Sommervile will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lewis misses with an uppercut. Sommervile saw that one coming.
Nice defenses there by Sommervile.
Sommervile tries to clinch there but Lewis circles away.
Sommervile goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Parker Lewis has been cut.
Sommervile darts in and clinches Lewis up against the cage.
Sommervile jumps guard but Lewis stands there with Sommervile around his waist. Sommervile gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sommervile pulls guard successfully.
Lewis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sommervile isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lewis stacks Sommervile on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lewis!
Sommervile is looking to reverse the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sommervile can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sommervile tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Lewis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Lewis breaks from Sommervile's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lewis lands a heavy elbow.
Sommervile is rocked!
Lewis trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sommervile is still in real trouble! Can Lewis finish him?
Parker Lewis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lewis softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Sommervile is out cold! Lewis jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Parker Lewis!
