Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antonia Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Sak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonia Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cory Sak!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sak is defended easily by Bailey.
Sak fails with the takedown
enabling Bailey to counter with a crisp jab.
Sak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bailey pinned against the cage. Bailey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Antonia Bailey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cory Sak.

and Bailey counters with a shoot takedown. Sak fights it but they end up in guard.
Sak is striking from the bottom but Bailey uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Bailey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sak wants to improve his position but instead Bailey has moved into half guard.
Sak misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Bailey lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sak can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Sak goes for a double leg but Bailey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bailey continues to drive forward.
Sak doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bailey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bailey gets the takedown into side control.
Bailey lands a decent elbow from side control.
Sak can't do much from the bottom here.
Bailey scores with a couple of short elbows.

Bailey tries for a kimura but Sak is defending well.
Sak takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Sak regains half guard.
Sak wants to get back to full guard.
Sak strikes from the bottom but Bailey uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Sak striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Bailey lands an elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sak tries to strike but it doesn't land.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sak is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bailey off and has taken his back!

No luck for Sak with that takedown attempt.
Bailey appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Sak gets the takedown into side control.
Bailey is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Sak is trying to control. Bailey wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Sak thows a huge punch but Bailey dodges it nicely.

Sak working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Bailey's thigh. Bailey counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Bailey is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sak is aware though and is defending well.
Sak trying to control the position from guard on top but Bailey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bailey seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Bailey continues to stall.

Sak lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sak passes the guard and advances to mount!
Sak fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Bailey is rocked!
Sak pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oh Bailey is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Antonia Bailey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sak looking to finish Bailey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bailey!
Sak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sak looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Bailey covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
