Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball misses with a combination
and Mcgregor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mcgregor clinches up against the cage.
Mcgregor misses with the head strike.

Ball breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcgregor is looking to clinch but Ball is avoiding it.
Mcgregor tries to clinch up but Ball circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ball swats away the attempt to clinch by Mcgregor.
Ball is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mcgregor.

Mcgregor tries to stall but Ball uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Mcgregor throws a head punch that misses.

Ball could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ball ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ball no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ball pulls Mcgregor in to control the position.
Ball looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcgregor is one step ahead there.

Mcgregor is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ball has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mcgregor is looking to defend but Ball has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mcgregor! Ball pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mcgregor taps out and this one is all over!
