Clay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pintos did well to prevent Clay getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pintos is trying to control but Clay manages to pass to mount!
Pintos tries to lock up and control but Clay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Clay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Clay lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Pintos! Clay sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Pintos and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
