Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Castor Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Cabrillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Castor Rollins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Cabrillo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cabrillo cracks Rollins with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Cabrillo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rollins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cabrillo.
Cabrillo tries to clinch there but Rollins circles away.
Rollins attempts a counter takedown but Cabrillo avoids it well and moves away.

A left lands for Cabrillo.
Cabrillo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rollins can pounce on him.
Rollins throws out a powerful jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rollins appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Rollins has been working on his balance at Cutthroat, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Cabrillo.
Rollins bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rollins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cabrillo moves into full mount! Rollins won't be happy about that!
Rollins is bucking up trying to escape but Cabrillo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Rollins drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Rollins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cabrillo loads up on a big right hand but Rollins slips the punch.
Cabrillo scores with a nice head shot.
Rollins misses the shot to the body.
Juan Cabrillo seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Cabrillo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Rollins shoots in looking for a takedown. Cabrillo tries to sprawl out of it but Rollins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cabrillo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cabrillo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rollins to score with a decent uppercut.

Cabrillo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rollins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cabrillo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cabrillo is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rollins gets his way!

Well Cabrillo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Juan Cabrillo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
