Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kit Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kit Walker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Glass !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kit Walker!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Glass as Walker shoots in.
Glass throws a nice outside leg kick.
Glass misses with a leg kick

and Walker counters with a takedown into side control.
Glass is not content to let Walker control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glass is trying to get back to half guard.
Walker with the ground and pound but Glass regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Walker thows a huge punch but Glass dodges it nicely.

Walker frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Walker seems to be looking for submissions.
Walker throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Glass to regain full guard.
Walker trying to control but Glass is working from the bottom.
Walker is looking to work some ground and pound but Glass has wrist control.

Nice uppercut lands for Glass . That snapped Walker's head back.

Glass connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Glass defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walker.
Glass misses with a hook. Walker ducked under it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Glass creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Glass tries to throw a body punch but Walker avoids it by throwing Glass back against the cage.

Glass displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walker.

Glass throws out a loose jab but Walker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Glass misses with a looping right.
Walker wants to counter the offense by Glass and move into the clinch position.

Glass digs a good body shot into Walker's ribs.
Glass misses with a few strikes there.
Glass misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've been told by Glass 's head coaches at LOD: Purpose Training Center™ that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Glass is looking to slow Walker down with leg kicks.

Horrible takedown attempt by Walker or perhaps it was just good defense by Glass , which made it look bad.
Glass dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Walker. That did some damage!

Walker drives through and clinches with Glass against the cage.
Walker's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walker is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Glass is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Walker can do to turn this around?

Walker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Glass prevents the takedown attempt.

That's time! Glass 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Glass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Walker shoots in looking for a takedown but Glass manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Glass lands a leg kick that knocks Walker off balance momentarily.
Walker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Glass swivels and escapes.
Glass moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Walker misses with a two punch combination.
Glass with a nice cross.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Walker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Glass - the referee stops the clock and Walker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Glass . Walker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Walker tries to clinch up but Glass circles away and keeps his distance.
Glass lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

As Walker backs away, Glass returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Walker has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Walker there as he acknowledges the shot.
Glass lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Walker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Glass pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Glass darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Glass chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Glass keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Walker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Glass is pulling down on Walker's head. It's preventing any offense from Walker, at least for the moment.

Walker has gone for a leg lock! Glass slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walker's guard.

Walker wants to sweep here but Glass controlling him for the moment.
Glass seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Walker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Glass can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Walker throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glass , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
