Scaletta has chosen i kill cause im hungry as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vito Scaletta!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kandle doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Scaletta lands a head shot.
We've been informed that Scaletta has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kandle ducks under a wild hook from Scaletta.
Kandle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Scaletta swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Scaletta throws a leg kick which misses Kandle's front leg but catches the back leg as Kandle tries to avoid it.
Scaletta looks to score with a jab to the body but Kandle is just out of range.
Kandle wants to clinch
and Scaletta counters with a straight right hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kandle takes one to the chin there.
Scaletta works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kandle drops his hands momentarily and Scaletta takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kandle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kandle there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kandle misses with a looping right.
Kandle takes a swing at Scaletta's ribcage but misses.
Kandle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Scaletta moves out of range as Kandle strikes.
Scaletta darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Kandle takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kandle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Scaletta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Scaletta paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kandle throws a series of punches but Scaletta moves out of range.
No joy there for Kandle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Scaletta looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Scaletta jabs Kandle right on the nose. Kandle blinks but takes it well.
Scaletta lands with an overhand left.
Kandle is rocked!

Scaletta uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kandle has time to react.
Kandle tries to clinch there but Scaletta circles away.
Scaletta feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kandle sprawling to the canvas! Kandle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Scaletta finish him?!
Oh Kandle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A solid leg kick lands there for Scaletta.
Kandle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scaletta circles away quickly and effectively.
Scaletta now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kandle seems to have got his legs back now.
Kandle swinging wildly here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scaletta's corner calls for a 1-2. Scaletta obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Scaletta is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kandle had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Kandle drives through and clinches with Scaletta against the cage.
Scaletta pushes Kandle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Scaletta lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kandle backwards.
Scaletta creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kandle with a big uppercut! Kandle tries to clinch up but Scaletta pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Kandle to the mat! Kandle covers up and Scaletta unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vito Scaletta!
After winning the bout, Vito Scaletta thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Blue Kandle spoke after the fight, saying 'i will come back stronger!'.
