The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw throws a looping overhand right but Ramasotti ducks down to avoid it.
Shaw throws a nice looking combination but Ramasotti bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Shaw throws a big shot that misses.
Ramasotti keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Shaw looks to throw the jab but Ramasotti is out of range.
Ramasotti looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Ramasotti counters by clinching up.
Still in the clinch, Ramasotti scores with a nice short uppercut.

It looks like Doyle Shaw has been cut.
Shaw is trying to force a seperation but Ramasotti has the dominant position.
Ramasotti softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Shaw is looking to break free of the clinch but Ramasotti has double underhooks.
Shaw is trying to push Ramasotti away but Ramasotti has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Ramasotti creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Shaw crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!
