Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gandolf Parus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Nunez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Hemmingworth and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parus lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Parus has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nunez.
Nunez looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Parus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Parus stands up and we're back to a striking position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nunez won't allow Parus to pass to mount.
Parus wants to take a breather but Nunez is having none of it.
Parus seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Nunez wants to improve his position but Parus is controlling well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Parus shoots in for a double leg but Nunez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Despite the aggression on Nunez's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Nunez looks to land a body kick but Parus moved away.

No joy there for Parus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Parus jumps into guard, dragging Nunez to the mat.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Nunez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Parus.
